Morphogenesis : Here are the first six shapes and one of the ways they relate to each other, and their relation to the Mother of all form, the vesica picis. Notice how the point of intersection moves out along the circle's circumference.Simply beautiful relationships, in a symphony of growth and harmony.
Morphogenesis
Five of Growth : This is the basis for living growth in the natural world. The Nautalis shell is the most well known example. Things that relate to this would be the Golden Mean, Fibonacci number series and a whole lot of other fun stuff. Don't get me started.
Five of Growth
Birth of Six : The hexagon is a natural growth of the equalateral triangles and their projection into the plane. Notice how beautifully they pack together. The pentagon will not pack in this way.
Birth of Six
Birth of Four and Five : The Four perfectly rests on the edge of both circles radii. With a little compass magic one obtains the pentagon. Note the smaller vesica within the larger one. It is used to help construct the pentagon within the circle(within the vesica).
Birth of Four and Five
Vesica picis : When two identical circles meet at their centers, a vesica picis is formed. All other dimensional form comes from the Two. Notice the two equalateral triangles in the vesica. So this becomes: the Two and the Three.
Vesica picis
Birth of Circle : From the still point, a movement in one direction. Then a sweeping motion and the circle is born.
